We are looking for a candidate who can work with our design team on multiple projects simultaneously, with the following skills:
Knowledge & experience designing electronics circuits, including the following;
Digital circuits, input devices, output drivers (displays, actuators, relays, motor drivers, etc)
Analogue circuits ( sensors, amplifiers & signal conditioning/filtering)
Microcontrollers (ideally both bare-metal custom designs and also Arduino-based) including developing embedded firmware (C/C++, Python, or other high-level languages)
Other essential skills:
- Debugging & analysing hardware issues
- Designing and laying out PCBs using schematic capture & layout software (Kicad, Orcad/Cadstar, Eagle)
- Protoype build & construction, including small-scale production batches
- Dealing with subcontractors & suppliers
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and other MS Office programs
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Ability to work in a small team with multiple disciplines
